Consultation

Your journey with us will begin with an initial consultation appointment with Dr. Nichols that is tailored to YOUR specific needs. Dr. Nichols will review options with you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you meet your surgical goals. After your consultation, our surgical scheduler will provide you with a customized quote, and you will be given the opportunity to discuss financing, surgery dates, scheduling, and is available via phone or email for any follow-up questions.

Scheduling

When you choose to schedule your surgery, there is a $500 surgical deposit and your surgery day is set! Your pre and post op appointments will be confirmed with our surgery scheduler three weeks prior to surgery and our nursing staff will be available to answer any and all questions. Whether that is to answer pre surgical questions, ease any anxieties beforehand, or assist you with post operative care, our team is here to help!

Along with our highly trained staff, we go to great lengths to provide you with the safest techniques, top of the line technology in our properly credentialed and immaculately maintained facility, and the most advanced pre- and post-operative care. The surgery center has been built according to the strictest specifications and is licensed by the Washington Department of Health. With patient safety as its paramount goal, our surgery center provides an unmatched experience, including:

Anesthesia is one of the most critical parts of your safety and care. Our Board-Certified Anesthesiologists embody excellence in their deliverance of outstanding anesthesia care. They are active participants in our safety protocols and have significant say in the type of state-of-the-art equipment that we add to this surgical unit.

Nerve Blocks for Pain Control

Surgery can be painful and the comfort of our patients is paramount. This team of experts offers nerve blocks to all qualified surgeries to drastically reduce pain and speed up recovery. This is done by using ultrasound to visualize the nerves that supply the sensation to the surgical area. The nerves are then bathed in medication to stop the transmission of pain signals to the brain and the pain is drastically reduced, resulting in the need to take less pain medications. Less pain medications also means less nausea and constipation that is often associated with them. We want you to have a pleasant surgical encounter and pain control is a cornerstone of the Pearl Experience.

Day of Surgery

Patients who make the journey to our surgical center for a procedure are pampered with the most competent nursing and ancillary service available. All staff responsible for patient care have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) credentials.

We continually maintain our skills and educate ourselves with routine meetings, activities, and workshops. All equipment and infrastructure are tested on a strict schedule. A hospital-grade generator brings power to the entire unit in case of a power failure. Again, safety is at the core of everything that we do. Everything else comes secondary. Our anesthesia is delivered by a group of board-certified anesthesiologists which also complies with our strict policy of safety and continual medical education.

RECOVERY

At the end of the operation, patients will be led to the recovery area for a smooth awakening. Certified registered nurses will continuously monitor and recover the patients on a one-to-one basis. Once the patient is awake, comfortable, alert, and able to drink fluids, she or he is led to a secondary area and eventually transported to their caregiver. 

This experience will neutralize the burden of worry associated with major surgery. Our surgical unit complies with the standard of our practice and delivers a safe, comfortable journey toward your quest for beauty and function.
